ARNOLD & SON

History

Arnold & Son is a watchmaker that combines the traditions of Swiss watchmaking with English heritage to create unique timepiece collections. The brand is known for producing complicated watches that pay homage to the pioneering work of John.

Arnold & Son's watches are based on three principles: Astronomy, Chronometry, and World Time. The brand's complications include tourbillon, actual seconds, dual time zones, and moon phase, as well as long-lasting power reserves that pay homage to Arnold's marine chronometers. The brand's calibres are designed, developed, and assembled by its sister manufacturer, La Joux-Perret, demonstrating the brand's independence and ability to perpetuate John Arnold's exceptional inventions.

Over the years, Angelus continued to innovate and develop its watches, and its pioneering, in-house-developed movements and timepieces during the 1940s, 50s, and 60s were universally hailed by connoisseurs of high-end watchmaking.

Under the stewardship of its new parent company, La Joux-Perret, Angelus unveiled its first collection of the 21st century, the Urban collection. This collection is a testament to Angelus' commitment to pushing the boundaries of watchmaking and upholds the brand's reputation for innovation, promising a thrilling new chapter in the brand's history.

Angelus watches are a pinnacle of cutting-edge watchmaking that masterfully blends the timeless elegance of classic haute horologerie with the finest ultra-modern technologies and innovations. Designed, produced, finished, and assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of Swiss watchmaking, Angelus watches boast a rich history of over 125 years. This legacy cements the brand's reputation for its globally hailed in-house movements, time-honoured techniques, and luxury designs, all infused with a touch of modernity that keeps the brand at the forefront of the industry.
